Nice sources, anyone know any other sites that are similar?

Just speaking on behalf of http://www.securityforest.com .

They are a legit site - those compiled bots SHOULD NOT BE RAN, if you ran them, then your just a bloody idiot....

They have been around for a few months now, I know a few GSO members who also visit securityfocus - just because their site happened to have some compiled bots on there, doesnt mean their admins are out to get you. But seriously, if you ran them - you bloody deserved to have a comprimised computer...

Bots sources on security sites are supposed to compiled to make botnets, their distributed for a greater understanding and for research... Dont download these to make a botnet with your friends - or else you'll never see privilaged information like this again... Use them to study, yeah compile them, but learn ways to clean systems, not spread your bots further....

Now that's what i want to really say ! bots(Sources) SHOULD be used for educational or Research Purpose only . Not Foe DDos. I use them to update some files on my network .i think it is a <constructive> use.
