Full Version: Security Wiki

Would members contribute if GSO offered a security Wiki?

If so what software should I use?
myth
I actually liked your idea about the reviews section slightly more... But yeah, security wiki would be quiet good.

Im assuming, you could put in ms04-011, and it'd come up with some info (+ links) about that vulnerability ? After we have put in the information though...

I would have no idea what software to use though, seems Wiki's are getting alot of vulnerabilities aswell
dieter
Hi,

There's already a good securitywiki here: http://www.wikisecure.com/index.php/Main_Page

Is it something is this way you'd like?

grtz,
Dieter

Don't worry about it the reviews Section will be here too! wink.gif We are trying to keep adding new types of content to keep the board fresh and growing.

And yes dieter that is exactly what I am looking for. and myth yes one of the problems that I am worried about is security.

Oh and just a small sneak peak, I am working on a web app/ wargames server. Basically we will have a server with lets say phpbb loaded on it users will have full admin access so that you can test all features of the board for security holes. Then every hour the database will reset itself back to a clean set. It should be cool

I think a security wiki is n1 but as you see, there are allready some of them...
May a good article archive (tutorials about howto secure, howto worx some systems, howto hack a system (auso important to understand a mechanisme))... but else it's may just 'normal'

EDIT [ADD]ohmy.gifr may a realy great link archive (with a good structure, any1 can submit links, but there 'll be checked by admins...)
GSecur
well I know that other have done it, but then again others had done security forums before as well, and we are doing pretty good at that now
