Hi

I've a lil question.
Is it possible to block all connections to my Computer from a SPEC IP in my Network? Or a PC Name ?
I know its possible with an Firewall Application. I wanna know if it's only possible with only Windows XP Pro... With any option ???

Crude but should work i think, it wont stop the incomming but this would just send any replys off to nowhere and so the remote pc wouldnt get any data back.

192.168.1.1 - your pc, 192.168.1.2 - pc to block, 192.168.1.99 - random unused ip.

"route add 192.168.1.2 mask 255.255.255.255 192.168.1.99"
Fractured
couldnt you just set the random unused ip to 127.0.0.1 and no worries?

I suggest you to put a static arp entry for his/her IP by just typing
arp -s <ip> <mac-modified>
where <mac-modified> is his mac adres with a little changes for eg.
the mac is 00-08-a1-41-5b-88
you modify it like this
00-08-00-00-00-00

and it is one way or another "blocked".
if you wanna make it auto start with the XP paste the line arp -s <ip> <mac-modified> ina any of the regedit hives for auto start.

You have to make a new action. The New action will be to BLOCK.
