Don't they know how to read the AGREEMENT? Probably some people just don't understand...

Ah but that's not the question. The question is DO they actually read the agreement? Most people just whip through Privacy Policies/Terms of Service and never bat an eye at actually reading it. They just want to get to where they want to be.
Personally, at this point, if a Trial Member hasn't followed these rules (and they are relatively simply and easy to follow) then if they screw up... well, don't whine about being tossed. (But that's just MHO)

just like to comment, IP and URL direct targets are what i've seen the most of... that's one to really remember, all that i've seen directly addressing targets got kicked out, as it says in the original post
and really, the admin/mod staff are really nice guys, but they aren't nice once you break a rule

It is not the amount of posts that you make, but the quality of your posts. Quality includes, how you helped others, if your information was relevant, making new threads about unlisted exploits / hardening techniques etc. You may also be looked overlooked if you show undesirable qualities, ie, flamming posts, spamming lol and thanks just for post counts etc etc
Im sure a moderator will elabourate on what i have just said

I see constant requests for compiled versions. You have people who are breaking these rules and I assume that I have to be a trial member because you have seen this type of abuse before.

To an extent. If I were posting a hacking tutorial I would expect that knowledge to be used sensibily. The knowledge itself is legal but what people do with it can become illegal. The exploit section to an extent is a hacking guide.

We on Lawina have hard rules too, but not as hard as you have. I'm glad I can read the rules and meybe I will contribute to this forum too? Talking about hacking/exploiting is forbidden on Lawina, so you can hope I'll posts my 3 cents here and there.

well tom.... there rules might be hard , but after several virii problems and malicious threads ...they are infact there to PROTECT our members and not us.
with it being a security forum you tend to attract the wrong sort ..who are bent on destroying your OS....hence the rules

What if you want to learn about security and don't have that much to offer at first?
I have some knowledge in security but i wanted to learn more. I can't share some of what i know due to the rules, which is understandable, but i wouldn't want to not become a member due to lack of contribution.
What level does participation play in your decisions?
dissolutions
Sep 25 2004, 02:46 AM
J-Hacks 100% it's all participation. You don't have to show knowledge just PARTICIPATION to learn. Prove to us that you want to be here.
You don't even have to say anything but you can write a tutorial on netbios....
Hell of IPv6, something anything.

Alot of what you ask is common sense thinking. Thats no problem. I'm still kinda new to the fourms, but I'm no Noob by any means, far from it. I want to Thank the admins for keeping a tight grip on what info flows and who is watching it. Thank you again for letting me learn more, faster in your fourms, I promise to play Fair! and contribute what ever I can to the fourms...

I'm just curious, Why aren't we allowed to post direct links? I noticed some people would put "hxxp://" on their links.
