Text-alert speed tracker gives parents peace of mind |

A family has installed a tracking device in their car to monitor if their son breaks a pre-set speed limit.
The
device, which is smaller than a sunglasses case, sends a text message
to their mobile phone telling them when, where and by how much their
son has exceeded their determined maximum speed.
It has only happened once, father-of-four Declan Branagan says quickly: "The peace of mind we have got from using the tracker is priceless."
He and his wife Sibeal, who live in Portmarnock, Co Dublin, decided to install the security device, a portable Omniscout tracker, when their eldest son began driving.
