Motorola is releasing its first full QWERTY keyboard slider called the Motorola Hint QA30. No word yet on what carrier may be carrying the device but many people are speculating that it will be either Verizon or Sprint. It's nice to be able to finally announce a phone that isn't another touchscreen device. Since many people will never feel comfortable using a touchscreen device a good QWERTY keyboard can prove to be a real lifesaver. The Motorola Hint QA30 uses a thumb keyboard with individual buttons and not a membrane-based keyboard like some of their more cheap models.
The Motorola Hint QA30 is obviously primarily a texting and messaging device used for people to communicate directly with their friends via SMS messaging. One feature that some people may like is the fact that the Motorola Hint QA30 uses threaded messaging to sort your SMS messages. Threaded messaging is a way of displaying SMS messages by grouping them into conversations which is the same method that the iPhone currently uses. Some people prefer this method me personally I dislike it. I find that causes a bit of a lag when viewing SMS conversations since the phone actively groups them once you click on the SMS icon. So once you click on the icon on the Motorola Hint QA30 the phone begins to sort the messages according to conversations and then displays them to you.For those of you who enjoy listening to music on your mobile phone the Motorola Hint QA30 gives you the capability of using stereo Bluetooth headsets. By using a stereo Bluetooth headset you can enjoy music wirelessly beam to your headset without having to deal with a wire dangling down. Which do have to understand that the quality of sound coming from the Bluetooth headset still isn't close to being the equivalent of a good wired headset. Plus you have to decide how you're going to recharge the headset itself.
The Motorola Hint QA30 has a nice 2.5 inch TFT display which gives you plenty of colors for the applications that you're going to be using on the phone. Also all of your Java-based games for your other Motorola-based phones will work on the Motorola Hint QA30. If your cell phone game provider allows you to do multiple downloads you can easily transfer those games from your old Motorola handset to your new Motorola Hint QA30.
The camera on the phone is nothing impressive. It comes with a two megapixel camera. The picture quality is on the in the phone also comes with a MicroSD Slot so that you can store your pictures on the memory card and then easily transfer them over to your PC.
