And add to that fact that on MOST laptops you can buy in retail stores you’ll find ether integrated video or low-end dedicated, skillfully disguised with high model number fooling you into false performance believes.
Fear no more, as I’ll help you thru these muddy waters.
The Choices:

Thou I’m not huge fan of Vista, with whooping 4gb of ram at this price point is simply amazing, thanks to recent price drop of computer memory. LED Backlight is great bonus allowing you better energy savings.
For Extra $50 you get bigger screen – 15.4” brother called ASUS N50Vn-A1B
2) “I’m serious about my ‘mobile’ gaming and 9600 is just won’t do for my Halo 3 multiplayer , but $1500 is my limit”

These are just some of the top gaming laptops on the market. Any one of these rigs will give you more than decent gaming. However there are probably a lot much cheaper gaming laptops out there and it does pay to shop around. And as you probably already noticed these gaming rigs are geared around Intel and Nvidia, since they are provide the best performance combination.
Unfortunately AMD/ATI based systems lag behind in both raw performance and battery life. If you like Mac, you should look at the new Apple MacBook Pro – Slick design and plenty of power with Hybrid SLI system allows additional power saving- and keep in mind - you can also run Windows on them to play games!
However, major drawback of going with any gaming laptop (rather than a desktop) is that there is very little room for expansion.
