This tag will give information to Google for a particular page that you want to be no longer available for crawling. Say you have a special promotion page that's already expired, you can just put this tag and Google will stop indexing it. Cool, isn't it ?

nosnippet and noarchive

If you don't want a particular page to have snippet, then just put a "nosnippet" tag on it. Don't wanna visitors to view your cached page ? Simple, just put a "noarchive" tag for those pages.

However, Dan doesn't recommend if you use this heavily on many pages since snippets are very useful to visitors.
