This is the granddaddy of many of the websites that let you watch TV or movies online. It has a great selection of shows like The Colbert Report. Depending on what region your from will determine what shows you can watch.
Hulu
Tons of content and they have the Simpson's! Only available in the U.S. though. It has some ads during the movies.
AnyTV
This is an application to view streaming Internet channels from around the world. Not all of the channels will work since many of the stations have the streams locked down to a region. But it is still worth a download since these are desperate times :-)
Fancast
Unfortunately since most of these sites are streaming free TV or Movies they don't give you a true high definition option for watching the movie. But not Fancast. Some of the shows and movies that they offer are in high definition.
Miro
One of the best free tv and movie websites out there. You get a great selection and probably on of the most functional control interfaces.
