Motorola is releasing its first full QWERTY keyboard slider called the Motorola Hint QA30. No word yet on what carrier may be carrying the device but many people are speculating that it will be either Verizon or Sprint. It's nice to be able to finally announce a phone that isn't another touchscreen device.
Okay, so you have finally pulled out your last hair when trying to stop lagging during game play. You love your PC to death and you don't want to have to give it up and switch over to a console like so many sheep before you. Here are some standard steps that you can do to stop lagging during your games. First we need to figure out what exactly are you defining as lag?
Okay the title can be a bit misleading. Since most people who hear the news announcements that TiVo is now offering application for the iPhone are going to think that they can view their recorded TV shows on their iPhone. Unfortunately that is not the case we are going to have to wait for Slingbox to finally get that option. But what we do get is the ability to schedule TiVo recordings directly from our iPhone to our device at home.
Blackberry is finally trying to make its way into the touch screen market. But this device is no IPhone. Some will love it and some will hate it. Read our review and tell us what you think.
Verizon wireless is true that still trying to do everything it can to try and meet the success that AT&T has received by releasing the iPhone. Unfortunately with the recently released results of the Blackberry storm Verizon still needs to continue its push by offering new touchscreen phones. The Samsung Omnia is the next touchscreen phone to be offered by Verizon wireless to its customers in the hopes of keeping some of the younger subscribers from going over to AT&T. The Samsung Omnia isn't the first touchscreen offered by Samsung was already released a number of touch screen devices such as the Behold.
Facebook is attempting to increase the amount of saturation its brand receives across the Internet. Facing a new integration strategy on the other identification services such as open ID or Microsoft's live user accounts. Facebook is attempting to allow users to utilize one single Internet ID when posting comments or accessing other websites. The hopes is that users would then be able to socially interact across the Internet sharing content and sharing information with their friends and coworkers. The Facebook connect service is the name that Facebook has decided to use to describe this initiative. Obviously privacy issues have become a huge concern.
Many people have become disappointed with Facebook's policy on privacy especially when we introduced the controversial advertising program. The advertising program utilized the calendar and Facebook profiles to strategically serve ads chosen by advertisers. But many people are concerned about the Facebook connect program is now Facebook will control information from a multitude of Internet services. And just like the concerns that people have with Google, people are concerned with how the information is going to be used. In reality compared to the amount of information that Google probably already saves on you, the Facebook connect program will look like an infant in comparison.
In the next few weeks a number of websites are going to start integrating the service into the pages, some of the largest will be Discovery Channel, the San Francisco Chronicle, Digg.com and the video hub Hulu.com.
In reality the integration of your online persona with all the websites that you visit is going to happen sooner or later. It does offer an amount of convenience to many users but the amount of targeted at traffic that can be applied is much too tempting for online content providers to pass up. Facebook connect is just the beginning of these type of services, Google has already hinted at a number of social media APIs that they have designed to integrate with websites. One has to wonder how difficult it is going to be in the future to remain off the grade when surfing on the Internet. Do you really want your friends and coworkers to know what type of horrendous items you purchase online?
Probably one of the most asked questions that I get is how you can…
