Put your XBox live Avatar on Myspace or Facebook

OK so everyone has now been creating there XBox Live avatar.  I am sure that you have spent countless hours creating the digital impression of your self and now you want to share it with your friend on other social websites like myspace.com and facebook.com.  This may seem like a piece of cake to alot of people but it took me a little bit to be bale to figure out because for some reason Microsoft puts it in a pretty weird place, instead of just easily putting it as soon as you login.  So this is a quick guide for people.

Ok so first make sure that you have created the version of your XBox Live avatar that you want to put on Myspace.com.  Once you have completed the creation of your character you need to wait up to a maximum of an hour for the updated version to be transferred to the Xboxlive.com site.

Now go to live.xbox.com and sign into your xbox live account.  Most likely your email address is your account username.  Then put in your password obviously.  Hopefully you remember it.  I had forgotten mine so I had to have it reset.  Now in the upper right corner you should see your gamer tag with your old icon on it.  Click on that and it should bring you to a new page.

Now the next page is your profile page for xbox live.  It has all sorts of information on it like your friends and gamer rep.  Now click on the spot that says "Manage Profile"  now you should see the copy of your avatar.  Just right click on the picture and choose save image.  The Xbox live avatar is a png image so it has a transparent background which is cool.  Now you can just upload it to myspace.com ore facebook.com.
